This is an exceptionally rare gilded Yellow Jambhala buddha statue from the Qing Dynasty's later period. Preserving gilded statues is more challenging than gilded ones, making such extant gilded statues even more scarce.

The Yellow Jambhala wears a bejeweled crown adorned with exquisite patterns on its leaves, giving it a distinctive appearance. The topknot is elegantly raised, with clearly defined strands of hair. The square face with a broad forehead, stern gaze, and a slightly furrowed brow imparts a commanding presence, exuding a sense of both sternness and tranquility. Floral-shaped earrings dangle from the earlobes, while ribbons gracefully rise on either side, and the loose hair drapes down.

The Yellow Jambhala's physique is robust, with powerful limbs. The upper body is bare, adorned with a necklace and pendants around the neck. Anklets decorate all four limbs. The deity wears long pants and is barefoot, with natural and flowing garment folds.
In the left hand, the Yellow Jambhala holds a mongoose, while the right hand grasps a Cintamani, resting on the right knee. The Yellow Jambhala is seated in a relaxed posture atop a lotus pedestal with finely crafted lotus petals, all exquisitely gilded, radiating a magnificent beauty.

The entire statue is meticulously crafted, gleaming with golden splendor, embodying the typical artistic characteristics of Qing Dynasty palace-style Tibetan statues. The craftsmanship and style of this sculpture unmistakably reflect the artistry of Sholdopal's distinctive style.
